College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics Organize Undergraduates to Watch the Live Broadcast of the National Day Celebrations

  At 9: 30 a.m. on Oct. 1, College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics organized 203 backbone undergraduates in classrooms A405 and A407 of Tianshan Hall to watch the live broadcast of the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Li Xiaoli, secretary of the college party committee, Li Zhilong, deputy secretary of the college party committee, and Wang Yang, a counselor of Grade-2019 undergraduates watched together with them.

  The national anthem sounded, the teachers and students solemnly stood up and sang the national anthem. Later, teachers and students listened to the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping and watched the live video of the military parade and the mass parade.

  This activity is one of the educational contents of the "Second Classroom Transcript" for undergraduates of College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics. Students sign up for participation through the system and it will be counted as the moral education score. This patriotic theme education activity will be an important experience for students to grow up in the university, encouraging them to grow into talents in an all-round way and enhancing their ability to serve the social and economic development of the motherland.
